09 Oct, 2025 | 15:23Deputy Minister of Environment and Water Reneta Koleva participated today in the opening of the third edition of "Career Days - Students Meet the Business" at the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy.
"In today's world, when the challenges facing construction and infrastructure are related to the topics of sustainability, energy efficiency and the environment. The role of young specialists is extremely important, because the business needs well-prepared personnel - specialists, people with knowledge and the skills to apply them." This is how Deputy Minister Koleva addressed the students, lecturers, and guests of the forum at UACEG. She emphasized that the modern economy is developing extremely quickly, technologies are changing requirements and therefore the partnership between the university and the business is more important than ever.
“The Ministry of Environment and Water believes that the future belongs precisely to those young people who know how to think ecologically, design responsibly, and build with nature and future generations in mind. Be brave and daring, because Bulgaria needs young and talented people to build the future for all of us,” concluded Reneta Koleva.
Among the official guests at the event were the Minister of Energy, deputy ministers of Education and Science and of Agriculture and Food, representatives of the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works, as well as the mayor of the Lozenets municipality.
