88 projects passed the first stage of the student competition “Ambassadors of Health”
25 Mar, 2025 | 15:39Eighty-eight projects of students from 1st to 12th grade from all over the country have passed the first phase of this year's 17th edition of the National Student Competition "Ambassadors of Health". The competition is organized by the Ministry of Health in support of the healthy lifestyle of young people, whereby the Ministry of Environment and Water is a partner in conducting the competition.
The long-standing initiative aims to prevent behavioral and health risk factors related to unhealthy nutrition, low physical activity, alcohol use, and smoking.
According to the rules of the competition, the 88 projects that passed the first stage spread across the three categories of participants as follows: category from 1st to 4th grade - 23 projects passed, from 5th to 7th grade - 29 projects, and from 8th to 12th grade - 36 projects.
In addition to the Ministry of Environment and Water, other partners of the competition include the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Culture, the State Agency for Child Protection, the Regional Office of the World Health Organization in Bulgaria, the Bulgarian Youth Red Cross, and the National Center for Public Health and Analysis.
