Within the framework of the Mission by the Environmental Policy Committee of the Organization for Economic Co-operation (OECD), on April 4th and 5th meetings will be held at the ministry, whereby a technical review will be made and issues will be discussed in relation to the compliance by the Republic of Bulgaria with the instruments of the organization.

The purpose of the mission is to assess the progress in the environment sector. Discussions will cover topics related to the effectiveness and efficiency of environmental policies.

This is the organization’s first mission to Bulgaria and is the result of the active and hard work by the MOEW and the achieved results, which had began long before the receipt of the Roadmap for our country’s accession to the OECD.
