At a traditional ceremony to hand over the symbolic key to the Ministry of Environment and Water, Minister Manol Genov handed over the post to his successor, Julian Popov with the wish to “unlock with wisdom and lock with confidence”.

Manol Genov stressed that he leaves the institution in good condition in terms of individual environmental policies and gave high marks for the work of his team.

For his part, Julian Popov expressed his commitment to work in a spirit of continuity in the key areas of the ministry’s activity. In an atmosphere of collegiality, the two discussed issues on the agenda of the Ministry of Environment and Water, on which work should continue and which are to be resolved in the medium term.
