Minister Asen Lichev to follow closely “Vera Su” unloading

The Minister of Environment and Water Asen Lichev is on board of a Border Police ship, which is expected to arrive today at about 2 pm in the area of the run-aground ship “Vera Su” in order to monitor closely the progress in the rescue operation for unloading the ship.

The teams of the Black Sea Region Basin Directorate and the Varna Regional Laboratory, under the direct leadership by the Deputy Minister of Environment and Water Petar Dimitrov, are on-site and continue to monitor the state of Black Sea water in close proximity to the stranded ship “Vera Su” as part of the monitoring efforts for the unloading operation.
