The Minister of Environment and Water Julian Popov met with the Ambassador of Denmark, His Excellency Fleming Stender. During the meeting, the two discussed the bilateral relations, environmental protection, and energy from renewable energy sources.

Regarding the questions raised by Ambassador Stender on product taxes, Minister Popov informed that Bulgaria is following the European objectives for a circular economy and "zero waste", with the transition from waste management after its formation to a policy of prevention, reuse, and inclusion back into the economic cycle.

The common view was that cooperation will continue to develop on all topics of common interest.
