The Minister of Environment and Water Asen Lichev revoked a previous decision by the Ministry, which stipulated that the Recovery and Resilience Plan of the Republic of Bulgaria does not require an environmental assessment procedure.

Upon taking into consideration complaints from non-governmental organizations, the Minister examined the case and took the decision that there were grounds for revoking the decision on the lack of necessity for an environmental assessment procedure.
