The Minister of Environment and Water Asen Lichev revoked an order for deleting two century-old trees from the State register of protected natural sites. Thus Minister Lichev prevents the felling of the two trees.

According to Order №RD-179/05.03.2021 of the Minister of Environment and Water, a century-old tree of the white mulberry species (Morus alba) in Burgas was to be deleted from the Register. A century-old oak tree (Qurecus spp) was to be taken off the Register, as well -  the tree is located in the area of ​​St. Nicholas, on the territory of Lyaskovets, Municipality of Lyaskovets, district  of Veliko Tarnovo.
