The Minister of Environment and Water Manol Genov met with the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in Sofia Her Excellency Irene Planck.

The two discussed current issues in bilateral relations in the field of environment, exchanged information on ongoing projects, and discussed the implementation of the Agreement on Cooperation in the Field of Environment.

Minister Genov presented the priorities of the environmental and climate policy, aimed at improving the well-being and quality of life of the population.

Both sides expressed their readiness to continue cooperation and hold bilateral expert meetings on issues of mutual interest.
