The Minister of Environment and Water Manol Genov participated today at the opening of the 2025-2026 academic year at the University of Forestry and the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering, and Geodesy.

"More than ever today, we realize that man is doomed to be connected, to depend on how much he protects nature, because only in this way will he have a quality living environment. That is why we need your research and scientific capacity. You will become the specialists who I believe will be ready for the global environmental challenges that our country is facing," said the Minister to the students at the University of Forestry.

To the first-year students at University of Architecture, Civil Engineering, and Geodesy, who are crossing the doorstep of the institution for the first time, Minister Manol Genov sent a message to become among the most important parnters in environmental protection and development opportunities in the context of environmental standards. "It is you who must bear responsibility tomorrow for solutions to the challenges of climate change, for the modern construction of bridges, roads, highways, sewage networks, and for the quality of water supply and transport connectivity," said Minister Manol Genov.
