The MOEW political leadership met with the directors of the regional inspectorates of environment and water (RIEW), the basin directorates, the national parks, the Executive Environment Agency (EEA), and the Enterprise for Management of Environmental Protection Activities (EMEPA).

At the meeting, current issues related to the activities of the Ministry of Environment and Water were discussed. The directors of RIEWs expressed desire to hold regular meetings with the leadership of the ministry to clarify a number of unresolved issues accumulated during the previous political cabinet. They noted that the vicious practice of giving contradictory instructions on one issue to different RIEWs, imposed by the previous MOEW leadership should be ceased. The RIEW directors complained of pressure by the former management.
