An act for administrative violation has been imposed on “Phoenix Pleven” EOOD for non-compliance with a coercive administrative measure.

 The unfulfilled coercive administrative measure was imposed by order of the director of RIEW-Pleven on August 6 this year. It ordered the company to carry out, at its own expense within 30 days,  environmentally friendly treatment of waste under code 19 12 12 labeled “other waste” (including a mix of materials) by handing them over to an entity holding a valid permit under the Law on Waste Management.

 The amount of waste amounts to nearly 9,000 tons and constitutes bales, wrapped in light blue and white polyethylene film and stored on-site at rented terrains used by the company within the industrial zone of the city.

 “Phoenix Pleven” had to remove for the same period at its own expense another 27 bales of waste under code 19 12 04 labeled plastic and rubber and 74 bales under code 19 12 12 containing a mixture of plastics and textiles.

 A penal decree is to be issued, with which a financial penalty will be imposed in the amount provided by law - from 5 to 10 thousand levs. RIEW-Pleven has issued a decision to terminate the registration of the company for implementation of waste treatment activities.
