There are no exceedances of the air quality indicators in Troyan after the fire in textile warehouses. This is shown by the results of the measurements carried out with a mobile automatic station (MAS) by the Regional Laboratory of the EEA in Pleven.

The data show that no exceedances were recorded in the air quality indicators, including: ozone, sulfur dioxide, carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxide, nitrogen dioxide, and fine particulate matter.

The fire has been extinguished, and in the area of the city of Troyan there is rainfall, which further helps to improve air quality.

The mobile automatic station will continue to carry out measurements tomorrow in order to track the average daily values of the air quality indicators.

According to information from the competent authorities, the fire broke out in a pillow and bed linen manufacturing plant. Five fire brigade teams from Troyan and Lovech participated in the extinguishing. There are no reports of any injuries.

The Ministry of Environment and Water and the Regional Inspectorate for Environment and Water - Pleven continue to monitor the situation and will inform the public if the data changes.
