There is no pollution of sea waters after the towing of the ship "Kairos" to the port of Burgas. The results of the sea water tests in the Ahtopol area, carried out during the towing of the vessel "Kairos" to the port of Burgas, have been received by the Black Sea Region Basin Directorate.

The results show no pollution or changes in the water constitution. The tests were carried out by the Regional Laboratory - Varna at the External Environmental Agency for the indicators of petroleum products, polychlorinated biphenyls, benzene, ethylbenzene, toluene, styrene, and oils.

The samples were taken on December 15, 2025 during the operation to tow the vessel "Kairos" to the port of Burgas.
