For the twentieth consecutive year, the National Trust Ecofund has announced the 2026 Literary Creativity Competition in the name of Mimi Pramatarova - the first director of Rila National Park and a prominent figure in the field of nature conservation in Bulgaria.

The initiative is aimed at stimulating creativity dedicated to nature conservation in the genres of verse, poem, short story, and essay.

The competition is announced annually for high school students and is held jointly with the Directorate of Rila National Park and the Ecological Forum Plus Foundation.

This year's theme is "Do We Value Nature?"

The deadline for submitting literary works is May 20, 2026.

The awards will be announced in June 2026.
