"The Beauty of Water" is the topic of this year's photo competition, organized by the Bulgarian Water Association (BWA) with the support of the Ministry of Environment and Water (MOEW) through the Enterprise for Management  of Environmental Protection Activities (EMEPA).

The Minister of Environment and Water Julian Popov yesterday participated in the award ceremony together with the other members of the jury - the Chairman of the BWA Ivan Ivanov, the Executive Director of EMEPA Magdalena Georgieva and of the Bulgarian Water and Sewerage Holding - Irena Georgieva.

A total of 115 photos were received by the organizers from BWA, 40 photos were ranked and the jury chose the following winners:

1st place - author Hristo Anestev - "Dance in the water";

2nd place - author Vesela Ilkova - "The Element";

3rd place - author Dimitar Kostov - "160 meters";

Partner Award - author Radoslav Sviretsov - "The Ship";

Institution Award (UNWE) - author Kiril Penev - "Mount Monyak".
