The Managing Authority of the Program "Environment"  2021-2027 (PE 2021-2027) invited to a consultation representatives of 41 municipalities that can potentially apply under the procedure “Reclamation of landfills/cells of municipal waste landfills”.

At the meeting,  information on the scope, conditions, and requirements of the procedure will be presented. Meeting participants will discuss the evaluation criteria for project proposals, which are to be submitted for approval by the Program Monitoring Committee at their second meeting in mid-March 2023.

Invitations have been sent to 41 municipalities - Haskovo, Karlovo, Pernik, Harmanli, Montana, Veliko Tarnovo, Pleven, Samokov, Stara Zagora, Vratsa, Mezdra, Silistra, Malko Tarnovo, Lovech, Panagyurishte, Targovishte, Omurtag, Kardzhali, Razlog, Vidin, Burgas, Asenovgrad, Oryahovo, Troyan, Gotse Delchev, Yambol, Sandanski, Madan, Sozopol, Aksakovo, Dobrich, Byala (Ruse), Levski, Petrich, Razgrad, Dospat, Smolyan, Gorna Malina, Elhovo, Ruse, Plovdiv, as well as to the National Association of Municipalities in the Republic of Bulgaria. The meeting will be held online next week.

The event is part of the PE 2021-2027 measures to provide effective support in the preparation of quality projects at the earliest stage in.
