The Minister of Environment and Water Asen Lichev informed by letter the Minister of Regional Development and Public Works and the Chairman of the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission about the overdue public state payments by water utility companies under the Water Act to the four basin directorates within the MOEW structure with the purpose of short-term actions to be taken for their payment.

At the end of August, the overdue public payments under the Water Act amount to 7,353,103 BGN to be payed by 25 water utility companies operating on the territory of the country.
