The Ministry of Environment and Water proposes to the Council of Ministers a draft restriction on the import of non-hazardous waste categorized under the 19 12 12 code. The proposal is based on the Waste Management Act and is related to the implementation of specific waste management measures set out in the National Plan for Waste Management for the Period 2021-2028. Waste with this code is non-hazardous. In most cases it is obtained through the mechanical treatment of mixed household waste.
