More than 2 200 participants took part in the first national online competition on Natura 2000, with 537 of them answering all 10 quiz questions correctly. Tsveta Todorova from Pleven won a laptop, Stoyan Voinikov - a smartphone, and Nicoleta Dulgerova - a camera.

The online competition is the first of 3 national competitions, the aim of which is to increase the knowledge in the general public and stakeholders about the Natura 2000 network. A laptop, a smartphone, and a camera are the national prizes for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd places respectively. Regional winners won 28 tablets and 34 power banks were given away as consolation prizes.

The Directorate “National Office for Environmental Protection” at the Ministry of Environment and Water held the first national online competition “Knowledge on Natura 2000”. The activity is part of the project BG16M1OP002-3.006-0001 “Knowledge on Natura 2000”, which is financed by the Operational Program “Environment 2014-2020”.
