Today, 17.02.2026, the Ministry of Environment and Water informs about a letter received with ref. No. 99-00-268-46-22/12.02.2026 from the Ministry of Environment, Water and Forestry of Romania regarding an investment proposal (IP) "Construction for the operation of a wind farm consisting of 48 (46) wind power plants with an approximate capacity of 316.8 MW (303.6 MW), transformer stations, electrical connection networks, construction and modernization of communication and access roads, Cherchez municipality, Constanta county," with an attached environmental impact assessment report.

Today, 12 January 2026, the Ministry of Environment and Water informs about a letter ref. No. 99-00-268-46/09.01.2026, received from the Ministry of Environment, Water and Forestry of Romania regarding an investment proposal (IP) "Construction for the operation of a wind farm consisting of 48 (46) wind power plants with an approximate capacity of 316.8 MW (303.6 MW), transformer stations, electrical connection networks, construction and modernization of communication and access roads, Cherchez municipality, Constanta county" and attached notification, non-technical summary of the investment proposal and maps.

Romania has set a deadline of January 30, 2026, for submitting opinions on participation in the environmental impact assessment procedure.

In view of this, the deadline for submitting opinions to the Ministry of Environment and Water on the relevant investment proposal is January 27, 2026.
