Strategic Environmental Assessment (CEO) of Energy and Climate of the Republic of North Macedonia 2025-2030

New! Today, 13.02.2026, the Ministry of Environment and Water of the Republic of Bulgaria provides access to letter ref. No. 04-00-3609/10.02.2026 from the Minister of Environment and Water of the Republic of Bulgaria, notifying the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning that Bulgaria intends to participate in the transboundary Strategic Environmental Assessment procedure for the Energy and Climate Plan of the Republic of Serbia for the period 2025-2030.

Today, January 8, 2026 pursuant to Article 35, paragraph 1, letter "b" of the Ordinance on the conditions and procedure for performing environmental assessment of plans and programs and in compliance with the provisions of the Protocol on Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) to the Convention on Environmental Impact Assessment in a Transboundary Context, the Ministry of Environment and Water (MEW) provides public access to letter ref. No. 15-4713/1/01.12.2025, with attached strategic environmental assessment report (non-technical summary), draft SEA and notification of the "Energy and Climate Plan of the Republic of North Macedonia for the period 2025-2030."

The deadline for submitting comments on the plan to the Ministry of Environment and Water is February 8, 2026.
