Updated Integrated National Energy and Climate Plan of Romania 2025-2030

Today, 29 July 2025, the Ministry of Environment and Water of the Republic of Bulgaria provides access to letter ref. No. 99-00-315-14/28 July 2025 from the Minister of Environment and Water of the Republic of Bulgaria, informing the Ministry of Environment, Water and Forestry of Romania that Bulgaria does not intend to participate in the transboundary environmental assessment procedure for Romania's Updated Integrated Energy and Climate Plan for the period 2025-2030.

 

Today,11th June 2025 pursuant to Article 35(1)(b) of the Ordinance on the conditions and procedure for conducting environmental assessment of plans and programs and in implementation of the provisions of the Protocol on Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) to the Convention on Environmental Impact Assessment in a Transboundary Context, the Ministry of Environment and Water (MoEW) provides public access to the letter with ref. No 16EICPSC/24377/10 June of Ministry of Environment and Forests of Romania in which notifies for SEA procedure for  updated Integrated National Energy and Climate Plan of Romania for period 2025-2030 with enclosed  Еnvironmental Assessment Report, Adequate Assessement Study and draft of updated Integrated National Energy and Climate Plan of Romania 2025-2030 a (received by e-mail, registered under No. 99-00-315/10.06.2025 at the MoEW).

Deadline for submitting comments to the Ministry of Environment and Water on the draft Strategy - 11th July, 2025.
